Melbourne Highland Games and Celtic Festival - full band contest, Eastfield Park, 119 Eastfield Road, Croydon, Victoria. The contest draw is below, along with venue map and important access information. Pipe Band members can park in the public parking area if they wish however as per usual MHG&CF have set aside an area for Pipe Bands to park limited numbers of vehicles and set up their marquees etc inside the Arena (the area inside the trotting circuit at Eastfield Park). Please note: vehicle access to the Arena is permitted between 6:00am - 8:30am only. No vehicles will be allowed to move around or exit the Arena after 8:30am. Space is at a premium this year, so bands are asked to restrict vehicles on the oval to a minimum. When the event ends at 5.00pm, vehicle movement will be managed at exits from the Arena when it is safe to do so. |

Pipe Band competitions don’t just happen, they need to be planned, organised and conducted.
Pipe Bands Victoria is looking for members who would be interested in helping out at competitions. We need Stewards, Scorers and Contest Supervisors. We would like to find enough people so that any individual would only be asked to assist once or twice a season.
The attached position description sets out the requirements for the Contest Scorer. PBV will provide training and mentoring into this position. PBV would welcome interest from any member or anyone looking getting more involved on contest days. PBV would particularly welcome interest from women and non-binary individuals.
Our aim is to make the competition experience a positive one for all participants, bands, their
members, adjudicators, officials and spectators.
